Because they searched warmer
climates and better grazing land for their cattle, so they slowly drifted to
Germany.

The Romans didn’t allowed
them to cross over because they saw them as enemies, but the Germans still kept
coming in and defeated the Romans also. They had not enough power anymore to
hold them away.
