Imperialism

Imperialism could grow mostly because factories needed recourses. Another one was, that they wanted to trade with other countries so they searched for other trade partners so that they could sell their products on the bigger market. Because the owners got so rich they  they needed to invest it somewhere. Thats why people started building more colonies.
Because Japan and America controlled at 1914 about 85% of the world, many wars between smaller towns stopped. The infrastructure, trade, sanitation and allot more was improved. Bad things were, that big racism and discriminations existed. In American colonies, people were against Japanese or black people, and in Japanese colonies the opposite. Revolts started in the colonies because they were forced to work at factories and plantations. They disliked colonial powers for trying to change their language and culture. At the end, the competition of the colonies led to World War I.
